About Us

The Urnia al Amira Kennel originates from local Israeli Bedouin desert Saluki lines with a small mixture of European Saluki blood.
The first saluki of our habitat was born in 2001 to the famous breeder Shay Spector from a Bedouin female registered as gene 0 and a male born in the habitat "Arava" and registered as gene 1.
The Urnia al Amira kennel was registered with the FCI in 2009.
Six generations of Salukis that give excellent results in exhibitions, races and hunting competitions abroad.
Each bitch gives birth no more than once in her life, all dogs undergo routine examinations and vaccinations, as well as additional health checks before mating.
Our kennel is in close contact with all of our puppy owners. For our "children" we choose the most responsible owners.
We maintain contact with Bedouins who have been breeding Salukis for several generations and carry out outreach work and provide support in registering their desert Salukis (generation 0) and their litters in the Israeli Kennel Association.
